Get Involved with Paw Haven Sanctuary & Rescue
Together, we can create a better world for animals in need.
Paw Haven Sanctuary & Rescue was born from a simple but powerful idea: every dog and cat deserves a safe, loving place to heal, grow, and—if possible—find a forever home. For those who can’t be adopted, we offer a lifelong haven where they can thrive in a compassionate, fear-free environment. Our work is fueled by passionate volunteers, fosters, supporters, and leaders who step up to be the voice and safety net for dogs in crisis.
Whether you have time, skills, resources, or simply a big heart for animals, there’s a place for you at Paw Haven.
Volunteer with Us
Volunteers are the heart of Paw Haven. Whether you’re helping clean kennels, caring for cats, walking dogs, or assisting with events, you play a vital role in giving our animals the best care possible.
What We Ask:
-
Commitment: Volunteers must commit to at least one 4-hour shift per week. Consistency helps us maintain a stable, stress-free environment for both dogs and cats.
-
Training: All volunteers receive training in fear-free, positive-care methods to ensure the emotional and physical well-being of every animal.
-
Dedication: We need reliable, compassionate individuals who are ready to work hard, get a little dirty, and always prioritize the animals' needs.
Volunteering can involve:
-
Dog walking & enrichment
-
Cat room cleaning & socialization
-
Cleaning kennels & common areas
-
Laundry & dish duty
-
Feeding & medication support (with training)
-
Assisting at events and fundraisers
